Arcadia Reptile Halogen lamps are bright, inspire natural basking, powerful, quickly warming and IR-A rich. They are all handmade as bespoke in a single partner factory. Halogen lamps are robust and can help lower energy spend per heated enclosure due to their efficient design, highly insulating glass, high quality of reflection and sturdy nature.
Using a thick tungsten filament encased in a sealed halogen gas tube, halogen lamps simply produce more light and heat than standard lamps. This is then maximised via robust glass (IR Blocking) insulation and impactful reflection. All genuine Arcadia Halogen Flood Heat lamps are suitable for use with good dimming thermostats and it is our strong recommendation that you use good quality thermostats with probes.

They are powerful, dependable and able to deliver high levels of heat over a very wide area. Our PAR38 100 Watt Halogen Flood lamp is perfect for use in larger caging for larger species. Being able to cover the whole body of large species at safe fitting distances is a must for keepers, ensuring reliable IR-A rich warming and user safety. This is not a lamp to take chances with, it can deliver 70C at 15” to dark slate, so please do use suitable dimming thermostatic control. Beam radius is a whopping 9”/23cm at 15” with solid heating over the whole central area.
